Alcohol and other drug abuse, teen crimes, drive by shootings, babies having babies. Some deem this generation of teens “A Lost Generation”. Is there hope?

Jesus died for the lost. He restores hope. What we hear on the news (the deaths, assaults etc.) are the end results of young people who have lived lives without hope, and through time have learned to hate.

Jesus Christ, working through Urban Christ Ministries and a dedicated staff, is committed to reaching these young people. They must be rescued from the “hell-filled grip” of the streets.

Does Anyone Care? Urban Christian Ministries cares, because God cares! U.C.M. is a specialized Christian ministry that has been called to assist the community in order to reach out to young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

U.C.M. provides the opportunity for a fresh start because it gives the young person an unusual exposure to love, kindness, and hope. Many, for the first time, become aware of the fact that they are valuable and worthwhile in God’s sight.

The Bible says that, the greatest gift we have is sharing the Giver of Life, and loving kids is the key to successful ministry. Bringing the Gospel to the streets with hope makes the difference.

Urban Christian Ministries is a non-profit, tax exempt, inter-denominational, inter-racial, Christian home missionary organization founded in 1970, committed to serving youth and their families in the inner city of Buffalo.
